Your child’s first day
It is very important that the first day is relaxed and enjoyable. We like to make sure your child feels comfortable and adapts to the new class with ease. Your child can wear anything comfortable for the first day – shorts, leggings, T shirt (anything ‘pink’ will help as the little children choose this colour for their uniform), ballet shoes or bare feet.
We encourage you as a parent/carer to observe the new class as it helps your child to settle in and also gives you an opportunity to see the class content. After the class, no commitment is necessary. We like to give you and your child ample time to see if the class is suitable for you and we can discuss this to ensure a perfect fit. A waiting list is available for classes that are at maximum capacity.
Information about the schools principles and conduct will be given on arrival, this also includes details as to where to purchase dance clothing and the RAD uniform should you wish to take up classes.
Children who register in the school at an early age are guaranteed a place in every level as they progress. Many pupils in the school train through all levels which can lead on to vocational dance schools. Many now have a professional career in dance!
The school is open during normal school term time.
Summer schools and workshops are available during school breaks.
Payment for classes is made on a termly fee basis.
The first initial introductory class at the school is free of charge per pupil.
Please make sure you contact the school either by phone or email to discuss your class interests.
